Earlier Work/Abstractions 1980s-90s
Most of these works were made in NYC, when I had a huge studio on the Brooklyn Waterfront.
I was concerned with movement beyond the picture plane , the power of color and
the process of applying paint to the canvas.Many are part of series of works done together as an inquiry into ideas and can be seen as individual works or as a total statement.
My current work with the figure is taking shape in a different way but I hope to develop into more abstraction as I progress.
